NetSuite SuiteCommerce Implementation Process
Over 10 years of experience working with NetSuite SuiteCommerce has helped us refine our straight-forward methodology. Let us help you get your NetSuite web store launched.
Define
In the Define Phase we gather information to understand our client’s audience and industry, and to confirm their specific web store goals and functional requirements, including the use of out-of-the-box NetSuite SuiteCommerce features as well as any desired customizations. Readiness of NetSuite back-end configurations are assessed for product items and categories, and a finalized scope is prepared for the client’s sign-off, defining the complete project plan, schedule, budget, team, staging/preview areas, user testing strategy, and logistical issues.
Design
Drawing from the information gathered in the Define Phase, the Design Phase is focused on determining the look and feel of the site. We work closely with our clients to understand their target audience and to ensure we bring their brand vision to life across the especially critical channel of their web presence. Wireframes are the first phase in exploring the site’s structural layout and functionality, followed by flushing out complete designs, considering all elements including logos, branding, color, typography, hierarchies, image direction, messaging and visual rules. Web-based sessions allow us to engage our clients throughout the process to ensure we are on target.
Develop
In a nutshell, the Develop Phase is where we build out the web store based upon the functional requirements defined, and the approved web store design. At this point our implementation and testing strategy is planned, and the site is built. Existing content is gathered and reused where specified, and the product category structure and naming conventions are configured. The navigation, as well as persistent and unique page elements, are built, and key user paths and scenarios are integrated. Pages are populated with content, html/css templates are created, and scripts, backend integrations, and customizations are coded. SEO is addressed, meta tags are added, and site maps, analytics, and tracking scripts are integrated.
Deliver
The Deliver Phase encompasses testing, troubleshooting, and the site’s launch. Additional cross-browser testing is conducted, and any issues found are addressed. User testing verifies functional requirements are met, and a final check for user acceptance and approval ensures our clients are satisfied. Instruction and documentation pertaining to site setup is provided, and following the launch we monitor site performance and make adjustments as needed.
